Calvert BioCapital was formed in 2007 to implement an alternative investment thesis in the health care industry.

Our business model capitalizes on fundamental changes in the drug development industry that now provide the opportunity to outsource many key aspects of the drug development process to external service providers.

Our strategy is to utilize our extensive network of preferred pharmaceutical development partners to reduce the time and cost to advance preclinical stage compounds into man. We expect to create a portfolio of attractive clinical stage drug candidates for biotechnology and pharmaceutical partners eager to expand their product pipelines.
